Window Installation

New super efficient windows. Double pane 6 over 6 gas filled sashes. Lots of packing material

Replacement windows are adjusted plumb and level into the existing openings. Any gaps are then foam filled and the window stops are re-applied.

New pvc trim will then be applied over windows

Garage and gable

Working our way to the top of gable
New pvc trim and siding on garage. The original siding was a T 1-11 plywood face only.
New details.

Dry in the Rain

New trim details on front entry. 8" Pilasters with 5/4" bases.
Tight working conditions under a 10' x 10' canopy. At least we are dry!

Siding

A story pole was laid out to continue the siding courses around the entire perimeter. All the courses are then snapped with a chaulk line. The stud locations are then marked with a Sharpie for solid nailing. We also ad a pressure treated starting board on the first course to mimic the angle.

Start of Siding

Color contrast
Boothbay Blue pre-finished Hardiplank. The baked on finish comes with a 15 year warranty

Tar paper splines are installed at every seam for water drainage.

The siding is also blind nailed at each stud location. Each overlapping course covers the nailing pattern.

Hardiplank shears. Lots of muscle.

We make 1 story pole for the project. Each course will be leveled around the entire perimeter.
